Police Seek Information in Stabbing of Woman in Glen Burnie
Police have identified a suspect and are asking the public for help locating Dwayne "Doobie" Howard of Glen Burnie.

Police are asking the community for help locating a Glen Burnie man in connection with the Sunday night stabbing of a Pasadena woman.
Police have obtained an arrest warrant for Dwayne โDoobieโ Howard, 30, of Old Stage Road in Glen Burnie. Howard is described as a black man who is about 6 feet tall and weighs about 165 pounds.
According to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Lt. Clifford Kooser, fire and EMS officials received a call at about 8:34 p.m. Sunday requesting medical assistance in the 400 block of Pamela Road. Police also were dispatched to the scene, said Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy.

Once on the scene, police found the 24-year-old Pasadena woman on the ground in front of an apartment building bleeding from an "upper extremity" and suffering from apparent lacerations, police said.
According to police, preliminary investigation leads officers to believe the incident is not a random act of violence.

Medics transported the woman to the Baltimore Washington Medical Center where the victim was in serious and life-threatening condition as of 9 p.m., Kooser said. She was stabilized and transferred to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for surgery, Mulcahy said.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate a suspect, police said. The incident remains under investigation.
Through further investigation, detectives identified Howard as a suspect. Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant that charges him with attempted first-degree murder, attempted second-degree murder, reckless endangerment and first- and second-degree assault.
