UPDATED: Police Locate Carolyn 'Embers' French
Police located Carolyn French Wednesday and found her to be "alive and well."

Detective Jay Schline located Carolyn French Wednesday and "found her to be alive and well," according to a police press release.
Police said her family has been notified. At French's request, no further information is being released, police said.

Anne Arundel County Police are calling on residents for help locating a Glen Burnie woman who has been missing since about May 1.

Family members and friends of Carolyn Marie French, 27, said they last spoke with her May 1. Police said preliminary investigation has found no indicators of foul play in her disappearance, but added that family members have become concerned for her safety due to the amount of time that has elapsed since French was last heard from.
According to police, officers responded to the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane in Glen Burnie at about 9 p.m. for a report of a missing person. Officers spoke with a man who said he had not seen French, his girlfriend, since April 27.

Police describe French as a 27-year-old white woman, standing about 5-feet-2-inches tall with a heavy build, blue eyes and brown hair with a large, black and white Marilyn Mason symbol tattoo on her chest, a red and black butterfly tattoo on her right calf and an eyebrow piercing. She was last seen wearing black pants, a black shirt and black boots and might be driving a white 2003 Hyundai Accent with a dent on the hood and numerous stickers of skulls on it in the Arlington, VA, area, police said.
