This week's Quote of the Week is from Glen Burnie resident Barbara Serio, mother of 14-year-old Teresa Serio, who attended Special Day at the Big Glen Burnie Carnival Tuesday.

“Being here at night, it’s hard. They don’t understand she’s different and look at her funny. It’s easier to come during the day,” Barbara Serio said, pausing as she became emotional. “It warms my heart. You don’t even know. I’m going to cry that they give of their time for these kids they don’t even know.”
