Welcome back to our Glen Burnie Patch Quote of the Week.

Each week, we at Patch will keep note of the more interesting, funny or poignant remarks from people quoted in stories. On Friday, we will reveal the Quote of the Week.

As you read stories each week, when you see a comment you particularly like, let us know in the comments or email Editor Maya T. Prabhu at maya.prabhu@patch.com.

This week's Quote of the Week is from Old Mill High School teacher Jennifer Petrin, who shared her thoughts on what seems to be an increase in the number of pedestrians and bicyclists being hit by vehicles lately.

“I think both parties are to blame,” Petrin said. “In the car, people eat, talk on the phone, text—driving is no longer their focus.”
