Quote of the Week: Laura Scott
Glen Burnie resident Laura Scott attended Thursday morning's counter-protest to Westboro Baptist Church.

Welcome back to our Glen Burnie Patch Quote of the Week.
Each week, we at Patch will keep note of more interesting, funny or poignant remarks from people quoted in stories and on Friday we will reveal the Quote of the Week.
As you read stories each week, when you see a comment you particularly like, let us know in the comments or e-mail Editor Maya T. Prabhu at maya.prabhu@patch.com.
This week's Quote of the Week is from Glen Burnie resident and member of the This is Me Campaign for her comments about the reasoning behind her decision to attend a counter-protest against Westboro Baptist Church near Meade High School.
"Who couldn't protest against the Westboro crazies? How can you twist the words from the Bible to target so much hate against anyone that doesn't meet your standards? Who are they to judge? You don't mess with our military who keeps us safe or our children. Neither deserve the hate and lies they spread," she said.
