Free Ice: Rita’s Celebrates Spring on Wednesday

Wednesday is one of Rita’s most highly anticipated days of the year—the first day of spring, which means free italian ice for all.

The Rita’s at Marley Station Mall will give away seven-ounce cups of italian ice all day Wednesday, in celebration of the first day of spring.

In addition to the free ice treats, all Rita's locations are coordinating a social media contest, and winners will get $25 gift certificates or the grand prize of free ice for a year.

"Capture your first taste of spring at Rita’s and tag us in your photos on Instagram & Twitter using the hashtag #ritasfirstdayofspring! You could win FREE ICE FOR A YEAR and other cool prizes!"

Last year during the promotion, the Rita’s chain gave away more than a million cups of ice.

There are two Rita’s locations in Glen Burnie, one in the lower level of Marley Station Mall, at 7900 Ritchie Highway, and the second at 7381 Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard.
