Why Go: In celebration of Women’s History Month in March, "Rosie the Riveter" will pay a special visit to Pascal Senior Activity Center. Mary Ann Jung will portray the iconic figure.

Where/When: Chesapeake Arts Center, 194 Hammonds Ln., Brooklyn Park, Friday 7 p.m.

Why Go: The Sons of the Severn will perform in the Hammonds Lane Theatre at the Chesapeake Arts Center to benefit North County Emergency Outreach Network (NCEON).

Pricing: Free, but guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to donated to NCEON.

Why Go: The auction benefits the Prom Breakfast Committe of . Scheduled vendors include Tupperware, Cookie Lee Jewelry, The Pampered Chef and Tastefully Simple.

Pricing: $5 admission gets you two paddles. More paddles can be purchased.

5.  4TH ANNUAL BEER, BOURBON AND BBQ FESTIVAL

Why Go: Sample 60 beers and 40 bourbons and BBQ while listening to live music all day.
