A man was arrested Wednesday morning after he placed his two carry-on bags on the X-ray belt at a security checkpoint at Baltimore Washington International Airport. The man had a roller bag and what appeared to be a duffel bag when he approached the the Transportation Safety Administration checkpoint, authorities said.

The scanner found a loaded handgun and a life dog. "It's difficult to say which of the two was more surprising -- the X-ray image of the gun, or the image of the dog's moving skeleton," according to a statement. >>> Read more.

Video Shows Suspect Fleeing After Brutal Stabbing in Langley Park: Police

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man in a video who is wanted in connection with the fatal stabbing of a man in Langley Park in July.

Police were called to the 2000 block of University Boulevard at around 5 p.m. July 27 and found 33-year-old Marvin Diaz-Marin of Hyattsville suffering from stab wounds to his body. They declared him dead at the scene.>>> Read more.
