SHA Begins Resurfacing B-W Parkway Between Hanover Road and 100

The paving, which began Wednesday night, will close single southbound lanes overnight on the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

The Maryland State Highway Administration (SHA) began resurfacing the southbound lanes of the Baltimore-Washington parkway Wednesday night from Hanover Road to Route 100, SHA officials said.

Due to the work, which will take place overnight through Sunday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and consist of patching, milling, resurfacing and restripping, one lane will be closed through the work zone, according to an SHA press release. Drivers will be guided through the work zone by signs, cones and barrels.

More than 90,000 vehicles travel along the parkway near Route 100 each day, according to the release.
