Stabbing Victim Walks Into Hospital After Assault: Anne Arundel Police

A stabbing victim walked into a nearby hospital, Anne Arundel police said. Officers are looking for the suspect in the north county assault.

BROOKLYN, MD — A man was stabbed in northern Anne Arundel County on Sunday, police said.

Officers said the victim walked into the nearby MedStar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore.

Authorities said the hospital staff could only give vague information relayed by the injured man.

The victim reported that he was stabbed in a stairwell of a Brooklyn building located in the 6000 block of Belle Grove Road, police said.

Medics transferred the victim to a different trauma center while officers responded to Harbor Hospital, a press release said.

Officers expect him to survive.

Authorities are still investigating.
