Teen Charged with Starting Fire at Glen Burnie High School
Authorities took a juvenile suspect into custody after a fire was set at the school on Tuesday.

Investigators announced Wednesday that they charged a 15-year-old male with setting a fire in Glen Burnie High School, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
Shortly after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a fire alarm at the school, on the 7500 block of Baltimore Annapolis Road, and found that school staff had extinguished a small fire set in the trash can of a men's restroom.
Fire investigators examined the scene and determined the fire was intentionally set, according to fire officials. They identified and interviewed a suspect and eventually arrested him.
Authorities issued the suspect a juvenile citation charging him with first-degree arson, second-degree malicious burning and reckless endangerment.
Authorities released the boy into the custody of a grandparent.
