Ellicott City Clock Rescued by Firefighters, Residents

While searching the flood waters for anyone unaccounted for, firefighters came across a missing item: the iconic clock from Ellicott City's Main Street.

They waited to recover it until initial searches for missing persons were complete, then assembled a team to get the clock, which had drifted under the Main Street bridge near the Baltimore County line.

Owings Mills Boy with New Hands Throws First Pitch at O's Game

An Owings Mills boy threw the first pitch at Camden Yards Tuesday night using hands that are still relatively new.

Zion Harvey, 9, received two hands last summer in a double hand transplant procedure that the hospital said was the first of its kind for a child. Harvey had his hands amputated when he was 2 due to sepsis, an infection in the bloodstream. >>> Read more.
