Traffic Stop Leads to Drug Arrest in Glen Burnie
A man was charged with possession, intent to distribute and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Anne Arundel County police stoppingย a Millington man for a traffic violation discovered more than $900 worth ofย marijuana in his car, according to a departmentย statement.
Shortly after 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers stopped a vehicle on Hospital Drive, near Crain Highway, and smelled what they believed to be marijuana. Police searched the vehicle and found 45.2 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
The officers arrested the driver, Thomas Leo Cope, 31, of Millington, MD. The department charged Cope with possession of marijuana, possession with the intent to distribute, and two counts of possessing drug paraphernalia, according to court documents.
The marijuana has a street value of approximately $900 and the paraphernalia is worth $500, according to police.
