Two Injured in Brooklyn Park Fire
Fire officials said one man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening burns.

A house fire Sunday night in Brooklyn Park sent two men two the hospital, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
At approximately 7:30 p.m., firefighters responded to the 500 block of Wood Street and found smoke coming from a house. According to Division Chief Keith Swindle, a 45-year-old man had attempted to rescue a 51-year-old man who was inside the house.
Crews rushed the 51-year-old man to the burn center at Johns Hopkins Bayview with life-threatening burns. A crew transported the 45-year-old man to Shock Trauma with non-life threatening injuries.
The firefighters took 15 minutes to get the fire under control, according to Swindle.
Fire investigators estimated the fire caused $11,000 in damage.
