Two Soldiers Among Inductees to Glen Burnie High Wall of Honor

Glen Burnie High School inducted four people into their fifth class for the Wall of Honor.

Glen Burnie High School honored four former students on Nov. 2, including two men who served in the U.S. military, by inducting them into the fifth class of the Wall of Honor, according to The Capital Gazette.

Jeff Warfield, class of 1982, served in the Army Reserves and National Guard for 20 years, earning a Bronze Star Medal and three air medals, according to the report.

James Saxon, class of 1964, went on to graduate from Towson State College and then enlisted in the Army, where he was sent to Vietnam. Saxon died in 1971 while on patrol, according to The Gazette.

Rodger Waldman, class of 1961, the founding president of the Chesapeake Audubon Society, was also inducted into the Wall of Honor, along with Jack Roeth, class of 1952, who was an active recreational sports coach.
