Undercover Police Arrest Glen Burnie Man in Drug Sting

Police say the man in Brooklyn Park was charged with two counts of distribution.

Undercover detectives for the Anne Arundel County Police Department arrested a Glen Burnie man after an undercover sting turned up crack cocaine in Brooklyn Park on Tuesday.

According to police, the undercover detectives were assigned to the area of 11th and Victory avenues after the department received complaints of drug activity.

At approximately 2 p.m., a man approached the detectives and made a "hand to hand" sale of crack cocaine to the police officers. Police immediately arrested the man, who was found to have open warrants from Baltimore County.

Police arrested Darryl Wendell Howard, 48, of Glen Burnie, and charged him with two counts of distributing crack cocaine.
