Woman, 85, Involved in Accident Transported to Hospital

An 85-year-old woman was taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore Monday afternoon after being in a two-vehicle accident in Glen Burnie, Anne Arundel County Fire officials said.

The woman was inolved in an accident at the intersection of Ritchie Highway and Cherry Lane, Anne Arundel County Police officials said. Police said the two-vehicle accident possibly involved a flat-bed tractor-trailer and a gold Chrysler.

The woman was listed in serious but not life threatening condition when she was taken by ambulance to Shock Trauma, said fire spokesman Lt. Clifford Kooser.
