Greenbelt Then and Now

As we head toward Greenbelt's 75th anniversary in 2012, take a look at Greenbelt then and now. This week, we'll look at the underpasses. Historically, the walkways and underpasses were designed to work together, so residents could walk from their homes to the town center, hardly coming in contact with cars, busses and other vehicles. Today, many residents still walk to the Roosevelt Town Center using the sidewalks and underpasses to avoid traffic.
