Police: Driver Dies Following Wreck in Aquasco

Both drivers went to the hospital after a pickup truck hit a car Dec. 30, the PGPD reports.

A Virginia man was killed in an early morning car collision in Aquasco, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.

Police were called to the Aquasco Road and Horsehead Road intersection at about 6:30 a.m. Dec. 30. The collision involved a car and pickup truck, the PGPD reports.

Investigators found that the pickup driver was going northbound on Horsehead Road and was moving to make a right turn onto eastbound Aquasco Road. Shane Beale, 32, of King George, Va., was traveling in a car eastbound on Aquasco Road when the pickup truck struck the vehicle.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital. Beale died from injuries on New Year’s Eve. The other driver’s injuries are considered not life-threatening.
