When to Watch Fireworks in Greenbelt

The Fourth of July is fast approaching, which means it’s almost time for the city of Greenbelt’s annual Independence Day fireworks display.

This year’s display will take place at Buddy Attick Park, located at 555 Crescent Road in Greenbelt. Festivities will begin at 5 p.m. and will last until the fireworks show begins shortly after dark.

Among the activities planned leading up to the fireworks display are a community drum circle, scheduled from 5:30 until 6:45 p.m., and a concert by the Greenbelt Concert Band spanning from 7:30 until 8:30 p.m.

Spectators are also encouraged to bring a picnic and to enjoy the on-site playground as well as a stroll along the lake trail.
