1 Patient Treated After Darlington Fire

The fire took place Wednesday in the 3200 block of Cedar Church Road.

One patient was treated for smoke inhalation after his double-wide mobile home caught fire in Darlington Wednesday afternoon.

Darlington Volunteer Fire Company responded to the 3200 block of Cedar Church Road at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday, and had the blaze under control in 20 minutes, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association.

Gardiner said the Maryland State Fire Marshal is investigating the incident.

The resident was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.

Gardiner confirmed that Darlington responded to the scene, but could not confirm other companies at the time of this post.
