2K Runners Expected In Havre De Grace Saturday For Festival

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Approximately 2,000 runners are expected to participate in Saturday's ASICS Susquehanna River Running Festival presented by UM Upper Chesapeake Health.

The running festival features a 5K, 10K and half marathon. There's also a virtual race option for the three running events. As of Friday, there's space left only in the half marathon and the virtual half marathon.

The 5K begins in Havre de Grace near 810 S. Union Avenue at 8:10 a.m. and the half marathon starts one block north near 900 S. Union Avenue at 8 a.m. All three races will end on Commerce Street at South Washington Street next to Tydings Park in Havre de Grace.

Parking restrictions will be in place along the race route on Saturday, organizers noted.
