Aberdeen Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash: Police

Police said a pedestrian was killed Wednesday in Aberdeen by a vehicle witnesses reported had Pennsylvania plates.

ABERDEEN, MD — An Aberdeen man died Wednesday night after a hit-and-run crash, according to police. Officials said the vehicle that hit him took off, leaving the pedestrian in trauma arrest.

James Tyler Blevins, 28, was on foot when he was hit in the 1100 block of Philadelphia Boulevard at 6:37 p.m., where citizens found him and attempted life-saving efforts before medical assistance arrived.

Blevins succumbed to his injuries after being taken to a local hospital, police reported.

The vehicle that hit him left the scene and was described as a silver sedan with Pennsylvania plates.
