Adoption Challenge In Harford Co. Aims To Find Homes For 3K Pets Across Maryland

The Maryland 3,000 Adoption Challenge​ is underway this month with the goal of participating shelters placing 3K pets in loving homes.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — This month, participating shelters across Maryland are part of an adoption challenge to help 3,000 animals find homes, including right here in Harford County.

The Maryland 3,000 Adoption Challenge offers waived adoption fees and all adopted animals will be vaccinated, microchipped, spayed or neutered.

The Humane Society of Harford County, located at 2208 Connolly Road in Fallston, is participating in the August challenge.

The adoption center is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They can be reached at 410‑836‑1090.
