BASEBALL: Amici Homers In Warriors Loss

homered and battled back from a seven-run defecit, but couldn't hold on in an 11-10 loss at Edgewood Monday.

The Warriors fell to 0-2—both losses coming on the road with the opposition rallying late.

Amici was 1-for-4 with three RBIs. Classmate Andy Meiselwitz went 2-for-5 with two runs batted in, and Zack Patterson was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.

Sophomore Luis Nieves-Gonzalez was 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly and two RBIs.

Keith Sifford doubled and singled in three at bats, scoring three runs.

The Warriors also got singles from Dan Jamison and Christian Glassman, and an RBI from Dominick Bolen.

Sifford and Glassman were on the mound for the Warriors. Glassman allowed one run in 3.2 innings of relief.

The Warriors lost the season-opener to Bo Manor Friday as the Eagles scored six times in the bottom of the sixth.
