Biller's Bikes Moving From Havre de Grace to Prince George's County
Havre de Grace will be without a bike shop as the downtown staple moves to Prince George's County next month.

Biller's Bikes is picking up its kickstand and pedaling out of Havre de Grace.
After nine years of servicing bikes and selling equipment from three locations in the city, Walt Biller and Mara Wasilik are moving their business to Riverdale Park in Prince George's County.
The move puts Biller's Bikes closer to commuter rails, biking trails and family.
"Leaving all the great friends we have made here is tough," Wasilik said in an email to Patch Tuesday.
The shop, which moved to the corner of Juniata and Green streets last spring, will remain open through Aug. 15. The last day to drop off a bike for repairs is Aug. 11. Hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Saturday, and noon to 4 on Sunday.
"We could use your support by bringing us your bike business these final weeks," Wasilik said. "A final chance to have Walter go over your bike and give it the TLC it deserves!"
Biller's Bikes began its run in Havre de Grace on Juniata Street in 2006, before moving to "the busy corner" at Franklin and St. John streets, where it hosted a series of musical performances and concerts from its bike showroom/stage.
The Franklin Street store also hosted a Christmas display each December. It also hosted live performances by national recording artist Ben Sollee.
It moved to the larger location on Juniata Street in May 2012.
During its time in Havre de Grace, Biller's also pushed for more pedestrian and bike access to and within the community.
"Moving to a place with over a hundred miles of connected bike/hike trails is a plus for any business," Walt Biller said to Patch in an email.
Wasilik and Biller were named Havre de Grace People of the Year by Patch readers in Dec. 2011, and owners of the best bike shop in Harford County by Patch readers in 2012.
