Burglars Drive Into Havre de Grace Pawn Shop, Steal Guns: Police

Multiple suspects were involved in a break-in at a pawn shop on Route 40 in Havre de Grace where guns were stolen, police said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Troopers are canvassing the area around a pawn shop in Havre de Grace Wednesday after weapons were stolen during a break-in, according to police.

A stolen vehicle drove into a store in the 2100 block of Pulaski Highway, officials said. Police were called after 5:15 a.m. for the report of a breaking and entering in progress at the pawn shop.

After the vehicle drove through the front doors, multiple suspects went into the store, broke into a glass storage area where the guns were and stole 23 weapons, officials said.

Then the suspects left in two vehicles, according to police, who said they had no information about the vehicles.

After noon, police reported that troopers were still canvassing the area and processing the scene.
