Car Drives Into Water At HdG City Yacht Basin
The Susquehanna Hose Company rescued someone while on a video shoot near Tydings Park.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Firefighters were in the right place at the right time over the weekend.
The Susquehanna Hose Company was filming a spot for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association when a vehicle drove off the side of the marina near Tydings Park.
A film crew was setting up a mock rescue for the Susquehanna Hose Company to shoot just as the vehicle went into the water 10 feet from where a rescue diver was suited up at the Havre de Grace City Yacht Basin, according to the production company, called First Arriving.

Officials said the lone occupant was rescued by the hose company's fire boat crew and was in the care of medical personnel before 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14.
After the diver rescued the victim — who was seat belted in to the vehicle — the Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps took him to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, according to the hose company.
