Car, Motorcycle Burned in Havre de Grace

Two vehicles were burned early Sunday morning in .

The and Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office responded to both incidents and determined the preliminary cause of each to be incendiary devices, according to the fire marshal.

At 2:03 a.m., the fire marshal responded to both the 600 block of Ontario Street and the 700 block of North Adams Street.

A 2006 Mazda 3 on Adams Street sustained $6,000 in damages after a fire originated in a passenger compartment of the vehicles, according to a statement from the fire marshal's office.

On Ontario Street, a 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200c sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage from a fire originating in the passenger seat, according to a statement from the fire marshal's office.

In each incident, eight members of the Susquehanna Hose Company controlled the blaze within 10 minutes.
