City Council: MOE Hearing, Budget Reading

Havre de Grace City Council meets at 7 p.m. Monday at City Hall.

Monday's City Council meeting will open with a public hearing regarding the proposed zoning changes for the mixed office/employment center along Interstate 95.

The center is the proposed site for a new hospital managed by Upper Chesapeake.

Mayor Wayne Dougherty is unable to be in attendance Monday, so will serve as acting mayor.

Council will hear two ordinances Monday: a second reading of the budget ordinance, and the introduction of an ordinance concerning the water and sewer commission.

Council will also vote on two license agreements: one for a brick landscaping wall at 810 Market Street, and one regarding a picket fence in the right-of-way at Giles and Commerce streets.
