City Planning Event For Shawn Forton's Mural

has yet another masterpiece thanks to volunteerism, effort and donation.

Friday, Havre de Grace will have a chance to celebrate Shawn Forton's dedication and talent, when a ceremony is held to honor the Havre de Grace native's .

A ceremony will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in front of the mural, which is located along Warren Street behind the on Juniata Street.

recently donated stone and boulders to improve the appearance beneath the wall.

The Susquehanna Hose Company will donate electricity for a connection if a local electrician is willing to donate the work to enable lights to illuminate the wall, Chief Scott Hurst said. Lights would require permission from Amtrak, Hurst added.

Donations toward refreshments for Friday's ceremony are also being sought out by the volunteer fire department.
