1. WEATHER & TIDES » After a reprieve in the low 70s Thursday, Weather.com is calling for highs in the lower 80s Friday. Evening lows will be in the 60s. Read more here. 2. AROUND TOWN » It's Friday! That means there will be plenty of activity buzzing around downtown. Looking for something specific to do? Check out the LIX CONCERT at Tydings Park. It is set for 7:30 p.m.—and best of all, it is free! Two more noteworthy events are set for Saturday: BBQ Bash at Restore Church and Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps Spaghetti Dinner & Comedy Show.

3. YOU SAID IT » Save the date of Aug. 10 at at Persona Salon to help animals while getting back-to-school haircuts out of the way! A minimum donation of $20 per person is suggested with all of the proceeds benefiting the animals at the Humane Society of Harford County.
