Confirmed Tornado Damaged Darlington Properties Tuesday
Tuesday's unusual storm has been confirmed as a tornado.

A confirmed tornado is responsible for damaging farms and knocking down trees in Darlington early Tuesday morning, the National Weather Service announced.
The weather service announced late Tuesday that an EF0 tornado touched down at 12:12 a.m. Tuesday in Darlington with winds reaching an estimated 80 miles per hour, according to a release from Harford County Government.
The path of the tornado was about 100 yards wide and about eight-tenths of a mile long, the weather service estimates. The storm destroyed an outbuilding, caused significant damage to a home and demolished more than an acre of corn, the release states.
The Holloway Farm and Murmur Farm, located in the 1200 and 1300 blocks of Stafford Road in Darlington, sustained the damage. Murmur Farm is a horse farm that is home to former Preakness winner Louis Quatorze.
There was no estimate to the cost of the damage as of Wednesday morning, county officials say.
No injuries or deaths were reported in connection with the tornado.
"We were fortunate this early morning storm and tornado did not result in serious injuries or fatalities," Russell Strickland, Director of Harford County Department of Emergency Service, said in a release.
