UPDATED: Crews On Scene of 2-Alarm FIre in Darlington

A six-bay garage in the 400 block of Darlington Road was ablaze early Tuesday morning.

UPDATED (8:15 a.m.)—Crews from a number of Harford and Cecil county fire companies responded to a two-alarm fire in early Tuesday.

Before 7 a.m., crews responded to the 400 block of Darlington Road (MD Route 161) for a report of a fire at a six-bay, single-story garage, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire & EMS Association.

Gardiner said one firefighter from Darlington Volunteer Fire Company was transported to a local hospital with heat exhaustion.

Crews from Level, , Aberdeen, , and the responded to the blaze, Gardiner said.

Gardiner said the Maryland State Fire Marshal also was responding to the scene.
