Donate Your Coats To Havre de Grace Children
Havre de Grace Patch is collecting winter clothes for Havre de Grace Elementary School.

Have extra coats, gloves, hats or scarves sitting around?
Make Thanksgiving and the holidays special for a local child by donating your coats and winter gear to Patch—which is collecting items for Havre de Grace Elementary School students until the end of December.
Drop your items in the green bin in the lobby at the Visitors Center on Pennington Avenue. Patch will collect the bin when full, deliver it to the school and bring the bin back for more.

We did this in 2010, shortly after launching Patch, and filled a large bin at least three times. Let's do it again!
The school is hosting a mitten and hat tree, but is in need of items for students who may not be as fortunate this season.

Can't get to the bin during those hours? Or maybe your donation filled the bin beyond the rim? Awesome—just email havredegrace@patch.com.
