Fundraisers Set Up For Shawn Christy's Sons

A website has been set up for friends and family of to donate to a fund being created to benefit his two sons.

on U.S. Route 40 between Aberdeen and Havre de Grace. His 5-year-old son, Shawn, Jr., was in the car, as well, but is expected to make a full recovery.

The donations, run through the website GoFundMe.com, are to benefit Shawn, Jr. and Da'lyn, according to a description left on the page.

A comment from a Patch reader that identified themselves as a member of Christy's family noted that a viewing and funeral are scheduled for Saturday.

Arrangements are complete for Shawn and are as follows: viewing Saturday May 26 from 10-12 at Word of Faith International Outreach 1301 Loflin Rd. Aberdeen, MD followed by the funeral at 12noon. Internment will be held at St James United Cemetery on Grace View Dr in Havre de Grace
