Girls Volleyball: Warriors Lose Close One
Perryville defeated Havre de Grace in an Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference match Monday.

The Warriors girls volleyball team went five games against Perryville Monday, ultimately losing to their Susquehanna River rivals.
Perryville won the decisive fifth game, 15-13, after rallying to win Game 4, 25-16.
Perryville opened the match with a 25-13 win before Havre de Grace won Games 2 and 3 by scores of 25-17 and 25-23.

Rebecca Ashman had a team-high 10 kills, along with two aces and "countless saves and assists" in a player-of-the-game-effort, according to coach Alaina Schleich.
Sarah Scott accounted for 24 points, including five aces, along with four kills.

Emilee Bubb had 15 points and two aces, as well as seven kills.
Samara White had seven kills and 12 points.
Freshman Sara Harmon had 10 points, including three aces, along with two kills.The Warriors' next match is Wednesday evening at Bo Manor.
