Students in Harford County Public Schools will return to class for one day this week in the wake of superstorm Sandy.
The school system announced Wednesday evening that schools will reopen Thursday, Nov. 1, and parent-teacher conferences will take place as planned.
On its website, the school system added the caveat that school buses cannot pick up children where there are road closures; in those areas, parents must take children to school themselves.
