Havre de Grace Business Talks 'Furlough Friendly' Strategy
Some Havre de Grace businesses are offering 20 percent off to APG employees on furlough.
Havre de Grace businesses are giving a little extra in hopes that government employees will consider the city's downtown business district.
As first reported by Patch earlier this week, Havre de Grace is creating a "Furlough Friendly" business district to encourage Aberdeen Proving Ground employees on furlough to shop in the quaint stores and restaurants in the city.
