Havre de Grace Crime: Thefts From Vehicles, More

Bern Drive, 900 block, 10:13 a.m. on July 29. A motorist who was driving was forced to stop and discovered a tire had been cut. There are no suspects and the origin of the damage was unknown.
Congress Avenue, 500 block, 1:57 a.m. on July 29. Galvez Jifez Sheppard, 34, of the 100 block of Weber Street, was arrested on a warrant through the Harford County Sheriff's Office for failure to appear.

Webb Lane, 400 block, 11:16 p.m. on July 28. Police responded to a report of a noise complaint. Officers asked the owner of a home hosting a party to turn down music, and the homeowner complied.
Concord Street, 500 block, 12:01 p.m. on July 28. A $2,300 laptop, $280 carrying case, $279 electronic pen, $500 spare vehicle key and a $10 set of keys were stolen from a woman’s vehicle overnight. The vehicle was unlocked and officers have no suspects.

Market Street, 800 block, 10:54 a.m. on July 28. A woman reported her collie in her backyard was poisoned. Officers did a search of the area and found no evidence of a poisoning, and observed the dog to be in good health.
Lewis Lane, 300 block, 3:14 a.m. on July 28. Three 14-year-old males were arrested and charged with theft, a curfew violation and being rogue and vagabond. Officers initially reported to the area of Harford Memorial Hospital for a report of juveniles pulling car door handles. Another officer located the three teens near Havre de Grace Middle School, where police recovered five packs of cigarettes, a Samsung camera and two Garmin GPS units.
Tydings Road, 800 block, July 28. A victim reported her ex-husband was sending threatening text messages, placing threatening phone calls and loitering around a residence. The subject was not on the scene when officers arrived. The victim was referred to the Harford County Court Commissioners Office.
Franklin Street at Lodge Lane, 11:25 p.m. on July 27. A vehicle sustained approximately $350 in damage during an incident where unknown subjects were throwing glass bottles against a brick wall. Police have no suspects.
South Union Avenue, 500 block, 4:35 p.m. on July 27. A window was broken out of a vehicle. The value of the damage was unknown and police have no suspects.
Congress Avenue, 300 block, 2:36 p.m. on July 27. Medication was reported as stolen overnight. The incident remains under investigation.
Green Street, 400 block, 1:50 p.m. on July 27. A bicycle secured to a telephone pole was stolen. The bike, valued at $150, was tethered to the pole with a cable lock on July 26, but was missing the following morning. Police have no suspects.
Blenheim Farm Lane, 1300 block, 11:04 a.m. on July 27. Windows on a house were broken by rocks and suspects broke into the home through a basement window, but no items were removed. Total damage was estimated at $500, and the incident remains under investigation.
