Havre de Grace Holiday Parade, Tree Lighting 2021
Holly Jolly First Friday is coming up in Havre de Grace. Here's what to expect, from Santa to holiday trees.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace holiday parade and tree lighting will coincide with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus this week. Santaland will open on North Washington Street.
"Holly Jolly First Friday" will encourage people to start their holiday shopping and get into the spirit of the season with music and other activities.
Some downtown Havre de Grace merchants will be extending their hours, according to organizers.

Here are the major happenings:
- The holiday parade starts at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3.
- A tree lighting will follow at Rochambeau Plaza at North Washington and Saint John streets.
- Santaland opens at 100 North Washington Street.
- First Friday vendors will be stationed on Pennington Avenue.
- Children's activities will be available on Franklin Street.
- Music and live performances will be on stage at Rochambeau Plaza at North Washington and Saint John streets.
- The Holiday Tree Jubilee features trees decorated by local businesses and organizations, presented at the American Legion at 501 Saint John St. Admission is $1, and people can bid through the silent auction until 2 p.m. on Saturday. A $20 preview party will take place Thursday with the option to buy trees on the spot.
Holly Jolly First Friday will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, in downtown Havre de Grace.
