Here's Why A Helicopter Landed In HdG Friday Morning
Breaking: A truck driver was flown by helicopter to the hospital after a crash Friday morning in Havre de Grace, officials said.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — One person involved in a crash in Havre de Grace Friday morning was taken by medevac helicopter for treatment, officials said.
The crash occurred at 9:35 a.m. on Ohio Street near Superior Street, Susquehanna Hose Company Chief Scott Hurst told Havre de Grace Patch.
Ohio Street is closed, the Susquehanna Hose Company reported before 10:30 a.m.

Crews rescued the driver of the truck, who was flown by Maryland State Police medevac to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, according to fire officials.
The driver suffered life-threatening injuries, Chief Hurst said.

The Maryland Department of the Environment and Harford County hazmat crews were at the scene to pump off diesel fuel, Hurst told Patch at 11 a.m.
