Crash Closed I-95 On Tydings Bridge: Officials

One part of the Tydings Bridge was shut down Sunday due to a crash involving multiple vehicles, authorities reported.

CECIL COUNTY, MD — A multi-vehicle crash on the Tydings Bridge temporarily closed Interstate 95 to northbound traffic Sunday afternoon, officials said.

By 12:40 p.m., traffic was getting by on the left, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

The two right lanes remained blocked from the crash.

The crash occurred after 11:45 a.m. on I-95 north at mile marker 91.4, state transportation officials reported. It involved four vehicles, authorities said.

Around 12:15 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority said all lanes were held on I-95 north for fire personnel due to the crash.
