Lane Closures Required For Road Resurfacing Project In Jarrettsville

Drivers should anticipate detours and lane closures for a road resurfacing project in Harford County that starts Wednesday.

JARRETTSVILLE, MD — A section of MD 165 (Federal Hill Road) in Jarrettsville will be resurfaced starting Wednesday, which will require single-lane closures.

Work on the two-mile section of MD 165 between Twin Oaks Road and St. Clair Bridge Road should wrap up in early fall, weather permitting.

Contractor crews will work summer daytime hours from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. After the Labor Day holiday weekend, crews will switch hours to 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. During work hours, drivers can expect single-lane closures with flagging operations to control two-way traffic. Crews and flaggers will use temporary traffic signs and cones to direct drivers through the work zone.
