Lewis Lane Roadwork To Begin July 16

The project was delayed from a planned spring start date.

A project to resurface Lewis Lane between U.S. Route 40 and the CSX train tracks is set to begin July 16.

Larry Parks, director of 's department of public works, said Monday the city would begin notifying residents of impacted communities that traffic would be closed from the Havre de Hills neighborhood to U.S. Route 40 (Pulaski Highway).

road work would begin by the end of April, and traffic patterns on roads in the Grace Manor neighborhood would be altered.

Plans to change those traffic patterns were scrapped, Explore Harford recently reported.

At the time of the announcement in April, the road work was scheduled to take approximately two months.
