Local Teams Set for State Playoffs
Aberdeen's boys soccer team is the top seed in the Class 3A North region.

- Aberdeen High is the top seed in the Class 3A North bracket, and earned a first-round bye. The team was scheduled to play Patapsco at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.
- North Harford beat Aberdeen 1-0 and will now face Bel Air at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
- Aberdeen fell 9-0 to Bel Air in the second round of the Class 3A North bracket.
- Aberdeen High is 5-3 and in 5th place in the Class 3A North Standings. There are two games remaining, and the top four teams make the state playoffs. All teams ahead of Aberdeen are 6-2. Aberdeen finishes the year against Perrville and Patterson Mill.
- Emily Byers and Mitchell Hardin each competed in the state playoff tournament in College Park. Byers shot a 106 during the first day of play, while Hardin shot a 91.
