UPDATED: Middle School Hosting Rachel's Challenge

The anti-bullying initiative was born out of the Columbine shooting and is being featured Wednesday at Havre de Grace Middle School.

UPDATED (2:35 p.m.)—Havre de Grace Middle School students took Rachel's Challenge Wednesday. The community can join in on Wednesday evening.

The anti-bullying initiative, which was featured at Havre de Grace High School last fall, asks students to take a proactive stance to being better school and community citizens.

Middle school students were introduced to the program at two assemblies Wednesday. An extra assembly will be offered to the community Wednesday evening.

The event is open from 7-8 p.m. in the gymnasium. Parents were advised not to bring elementary-aged students to the event due to the nature of the program.
