Pink Hanger Boutique to Close This Summer

The consignment store on Franklin Street is relocating.

Owners of the trendy consignment boutique on Franklin Street announced the store would be leaving Havre de Grace by the end of the summer.

The Pink Hanger broke the news to its Facebook followers Friday afternoon that it will be shuttering in August.

The consignment shop sells "cute and current" items, which tended to be posted on Facebook and gone the next day, the owner told Patch in the months after the boutique arrived in town in 2012.

Next, the store is heading south, relocating to the White Marsh area, according to the following announcement from the owners:

"We have exciting news!!! Pink Hanger is moving!! We will be relocating our shop to the White Marsh area! We will be leaving our HDG location in August. Hope you all will stay with us during our journey, as we are so excited! If you have questions about your consignments, either privately message us or call the shop."

The store opened Sept. 12, 2012, so its departure comes less than two years after setting up shop. A closing date will reportedly be announced soon.
