Free KN95 Masks To Be Distributed At Ripken Testing Site

The Harford County Health Department will provide free KN95 masks starting Thursday in Aberdeen.

ABERDEEN, MD — A limited supply of KN95 masks will be given away at Ripken Stadium starting Thursday, according to the Harford County Health Department.

"We will be doing additional giveaways at other locations, so stay tuned and continue to check back here as we begin to do our rollout," the health department posted on Facebook.

In mid-January, Gov. Larry Hogan said the state would make 20 million N95 and KN95 masks available to the public.

"Remember: the most effective mask is the one you will wear PROPERLY and CONSISTENTLY," the Harford County Health Department said in a statement. "Masks should be worn indoors in public spaces, around those whose vaccine status is unknown, and anywhere they are required."

The Ripken Stadium testing site is open from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m.–1 p.m. on Saturday.
