SOFTBALL: Warriors Leave Tying Run On First
The Havre de Grace softball team lost at North East Tuesday.
The had the bases loaded with one out in the top of the seventh inning but couldn't complete the rally, losing at North East, 5-2, on Tuesday.
Hayley Kitts threw a complete game, scattering eight hits and a walk while striking out four.
Rebecca Ashman, Riley Arnold, Megan Thompson and Kaitlyn Husfelt had singles. Taylor Smith singled twice and Hailey Bethke tripled. Thompson had the team's lone RBI, while Smith and Bethke scored runs.

The Warriors split two games in their annual Harris Tournament at on Saturday.
Riley Arnold had a single and an RBI, Kelsey McRoberts had a single and a run and Dana Teufer scored a run, but the Warriors lost, 16-2, to Conwell Egan in the opening game.

The Warriors committed four errors and allowed eight walks and 12 hits.
Game 2 was much better, as the Warriors scored in every inning en route to a 14-1 wi against Fallston.
Arnold threw a complete game for her first high school win, scattering five hits and a walk while striking out one.
Bethke homered twice—one in the park and another over the fence for the first time in her high school career.
Thompson and Smith had three sigles each, while Ashman singled twice.
Arnold helped her own cause with a double and a sigle.
Emily Lewis, Kelsey McRoberts, Alison Lewis and Kayla Vaughan added hits fot the Warriors.
